Adel has teaching experience and is held in high regard as a role model in his community. He has been a student of the Dearborn school system so he understands current students’ issues.

Adel is endorsed by the Dearborn Federation of Teachers, Councilman Mark Shooshanian, the Dearborn Police Officers Association.
